Responsible Gaming
Responsible Gaming is the group of measures taken to limit the adverse effects of excessive exposure to gambling and responsible and informed decisions from the player's side. Responsible Gaming is all about actions and activities aimed to protect both the players and the general public, including children and vulnerable groups of the population, from the possibility of general damage and all the adverse consequences arising from excessive involvement in gambling. Responsible Gaming is therefore the result of engagement and effort of the players, the society, the gambling industry and the authorities to ensure a legitimate and credible conduct gaming environment. Greek legislation enforces Responsible Gambling rules, involving providers, players, banks, store owners, Internet service providers (Internet Service Providers), advertisers and everyone in the gaming process and introduces strict administrative and criminal penalties for violating these rules. |
